Cannonau is niet enkel de belangrijkste rode druif van Sardinië, maar ook één van de meest bekende en succesvolle van het eiland. Cannonau is de lokale naam voor Grenache. Mooi is hij zeker! Deze heerlijke mediterrane rosso is gezegend met een krachtige, robijnrode kleur met violette reflecties. Het betoverende bouquet onthult het ene aroma na het andere: kersen, rijpe pruimen, wilde kruiden en specerijen. In de mond de kenmerkende zuidelijke kracht en pittige tannines, maar ook mediterrane zachtheid, evenwichtige structuur en waanzinnig veel body. In de finale worden de smaakpapillen nogmaals verwend met fruit en kruidigheid. Gewoonweg genieten.

Pala, a wine family since 1950. The Azienda Agricola Pala (or Pala estate) was founded in Sardinia, Italy, in 1950. Mario Pala is now the third generation of the family taking care of the vines of his family with the help of his wife Rita and the fourth generation of the family represented by his sons Massimiliano, Elisabetta and Mariantonietta. From father to son since 1950 there's the most important ingredients that the Pala family has always added to terroir, tradition, respect fro the environment: the passion to make wines that are able to express the family character and the terroir of this extraordinary island.
